At iDIVE Komodo, we are affilliated with Scuba Schools International (SSI).

This globally-recognized certification program is the best way to begin your life-long adventure as a certified scuba diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience required to become truly comfortable underwater. You will earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification.

PROGRAM

The Open Water Course can be done in 3 days, with the itinerary as follow :

Day 1 : Theory day

              You will watch digital video material of Risk Awareness and Open Water Course, also there be Knowledge Reviews that need to be done. The best thing for this program is that you can do it in advance, prior to coming to Komodo, that way you can save your time. No additional charge for this!

Day 2 : Confined Water Session

              You will be doing this session together with the Instructor at a calm dive site that we use as a training site. Instructor will be there to assist you to prepare the Confined Water Session and also practice the underwater skills with you.

Day 3 : Open Water Session

              This is the most exciting day, you will be going on the boat trip to Komodo National Park and you will do the Open Water Sessions.

              Finally you will be doing the final exam.

              Certification card will be given on the same day if you pass!
